I have been reading Sigmund Freud and learned about hie theories since I was in high school. I first was recommended by my teacher who taught me Films. He suggested I could read some of Freud's books like "The Interpretation of Dreams" "The Ego and the Id", since I am a big fan of "dreams" and human's unconscious mind things.

At the very beginning I had created many of works myself with the theme of my own dreams and the scene that could only saw by me in my mind.

Freud's theory and his thought kind of make me more obsessed with this aspect. About human's MIND.

So we(me and Qiandai) wanted to use the "choice" as an element, and use it to describe a theme about "Self awareness".

I tried to create an option in the project. Because people sometimes making a choice is not because they want to, is somewhere in the brain that had told them you need to make a decision and then act it. That's close to a part called UNCONSCIOUS MIND and people can hardly realize they are being controlled by the "unconscious mind".

Sometimes we are acting like not being controlled. For example like when people are drunk during the midnight. Their thoughts and feelings will no longer being controlled by themselves but a magical part of the brain, which a part of our daily life but is suppressed by our intellect. It is also the part that is not really under our control. Does this part belong to us, or does it mean that only the brain after all the disguise is the real ourselves.
